That was happening to me last year before voting for the constitution in Egypt:
One of my clients who is a conservative Muslim was asking me if I'm either gonna vote yes or no for the constitution in the next few days. So, I answered him that my vote will be "No" to the constitution. Once I told him that, he became so angry and told me that it will be a real "Sin" if I vote "No".
Then, I smiled and said: "Really? The constitution isn't a holy book, man. It's not Quran or Bible to tell us the right way to handle our lives. Beside, I read it myself and found many terms in it which I disapprove it. That's why I vote "No" for it, So the constitutional committee got more time to change those terms and recreate a new good constitution which represent our Egyptian Society"
I'm just wonderin'... How come we mix politics with religions in a really disgusting way? This is not right. Even though, I still have hope that someday our point of views here in Egypt will be changed to the best. But, It's only a matter of time. :)
